Michelin 1959 – A3 print
Inspired by my love of old adverts this beautiful Michelin poster is created using acryclics and an image transfer technique I have worked hard to perfect. I am aiming to recreate the appearance of an old advert that has been weathered with time. Created on a canvas board the original artwork has been professionaly scanned and put together to create this poster.

Giclée is a French term meaning ‘to spray’, referring to how an inkjet printer works and how giclée prints are usually produced. These large format inkjet printers use small spraying devices that can both match color and apply ink precisely, giving a high-quality print of their the artwork.
